Method: Have a two cards packet face down in left hand mechanic's grip. Have another card palmed with its face outwards in the right hand. Have your body turned to the left. Transfer the two cards packet to the right hand, so that it clips the packet between the thumb and the side of the hand, the thumb touching the face of the packet. The packet is held so that its sides are parallel to the thumb and index. The bottom end of the packet meets the pit between the thumb and the side of the hand. The rest of the fingers are curled to hold the palmed card. The right wrist turns around using the lenght of the thumb as an axis, thus turning the packet face up. Display the bottom card of the packet, using a display subtlety to suggest the right hand is empty. You can push the bottom card a little sidewards with your thumb, so that the other card of the packet can also be seen. Turn the packet face down by making the turning move backwards. Leave the face card of the packet face down in the left hand and turn the top card again, using the same move. This time, the left thumb peels off the palmed card onto the card in the let hand as the top card is displayed in the right hand. This move is covered by the right hand and the card it holds. The right hand turns palm down again, placing the top card on top of the face up card. Then, the packet is squared.
