Method: The deck is held necktied in left hand dealer's grip. The right hand approaches and the right second finger rests accross the top end of the deck. The right thumb pushes the top card forward and this card is clipped between the right index and second fingers. The right side of the card rests at the base of the thumb. The deck is dropped to waist level as the right hand moves behind it, touching it slightly.
Comments: Be careful not to flash the card between the fingers, especially at the corner at the base of the fingers. This palm can be used to secretly transfer cards from top to bottom of the deck and vice-versa.
VARIATION
The bottom card can also be palmed by the left hand. Hold the deck in right hand biddle grip. The left index finger rests across the top end of the deck. The right hand moves towards the magician's body, thus slightly outjogging the card under the left index finger. The outjogged card should be hidden by the finger. The card is then clipped in a Tenkai palm. The same move as above can also be used to Tenkai palm a packet of cards in the left hand, instead of only one card.
