GAMBLER'S COP

Effect: This gives a subtlety that the left hand is empty, while it holds a packet of cards.

Method: The deck is held in left hand dealer's grip. Have a break above a packet of cards at the bottom of the deck. Let's assume the packet contains four cards. In that case, you should have a pinkie break above the four cards, at the bottom of the deck. Transfer the pinkie break into a right hand thumb break, as you grab the deck in right hand biddle grip as well. Use the right hand to bring the deck towards you, into a left hand deep dealer's grip. Then, push the deck back to its original position, leaving the cards below the break injogged. Remove the deck from the left hand, leaving only the four cards packet. The cards should be hidden by the angle of the hand.

Comments: The gambler's cop is angle sensitive, so study its angles. It is easier to do the gambler's cop if the left hand is holding cards in regular dealer's grip, because these cards help hiding the cards in the cop. In case, there are no cards, the left hand can be used to point to something else, so it doesn't look suspicious.
